Field Service Engineer
Ready to join the Typhoon House team? We’re looking for a skilled and self-motivated Field Service Engineer with a solid technical background in printers, MFDs, and photocopiers.
Manufacturer trained with a minimum of 3 years experience, the ideal candidate will also be as superb with customers as they are with office hardware — just the way we like it here at TH HQ!
𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝗱𝗲
Delivering, installing, repairing and providing support for printers, MFDs and photocopiers at client premises across the Isle of Man
Ensuring installed devices connect to a variety of networks
Liaising with clients regarding their requirements, and ensuring that all client needs are met, and where possible, surpassed
Troubleshooting any issues which may arise during installation, and liaising with the team at the company’s HQ when necessary
Dealing with and finding solutions for issues raised by telephone or remote login, and identifying when a field visit may be necessary
Maintaining and further developing knowledge of printers, photocopiers and MFDs to ensure the candidate’s skillset remains at the forefront of ongoing technical advances
A full driving licence is essential for this role
️The candidate must have solid background knowledge of MFDs, photocopiers, and printers
️Manufacturer trained with a minimum of 3 years experience.
The candidate must be over 25 years of age for insurance purposes
️Good IT skills including MS Office, Windows, iOS, LDAP, Active Directory & IT networks
️DBS clearance required
This is a full-time role with working hours 9am–5pm Monday to Thursday and 9am–4.30pm Friday.
The successful candidate will receive a salary dependent on experience, with benefits including: a company vehicle, mobile phone, workwear, further training and development, 23 days holiday per year plus bank holidays.
